Broker's Comments
This yacht seems a well maintained and loved yacht. She has taken her current owner on many miles of adventures and is set up and ready to go, having just completed the trip from Greece to Gibralter (1500 NM).
The Dehler 36CWS is a fast and capable cruiser/racer and equally at home racing on the river or offshore. The central winch system means that she is set up to sail short handed.
She has been kitted out to OSR Cat 1 standard (works include a trysail track, emergency forestay, Class B AIS Transponder, larger plastic fuel tank, etc). She has been mostly dry-sailed for the past few years.
Among the electrical equipment there is radar, Raymarine ST4000 autopilot, two separate GPS systems (connected to the domestic batteries but with independent ariels), one conveying speed, COG, Lat/Long, depth and a multitude of other information to the helm.
This yacht has been maintained as a blue-water boat and has a great number of spares and tools on board. The current owner would be pleased to help deliver the boat if required after she has sold.
The history of the boat is very well documented and she has all sales receipts from the date of her build to the current day including the VAT receipt.
Maintenance works completed this year include - new cutlass bearing and stern gland, new domestic and starter batteries (all Varta Marine), new genoa halyard, wind arrow and new sprayhood. The liferaft was serviced summer this year. The electric winch motor is currently being serviced. The fridge does not work and the current owner believes it could need a new compressor. The wind sensor has stopped working although the instrument at the wheel has been checked and functions well.
