Broker's Comments
I sail regularly in another 54DS and what I love the most about these boats is their speed. It is quite normal to sail close hauled at 10 knots and up to 12.5 Knots on a broad reach. I love this because she is easy to sail short handed with her electric winches.
This particular boat took part in the 2011 ARC and was then shipped back to Europe. She would make an ideal mount for anyone proposing to do the ARC or who wants to do some serious cruising in comfort. She needs a little cosmetic attention but beyond that she is a very sound boat and fully in commission.
