This boat is a racing boat and the engine is removed and stored below when racing, as IRC rules allow. This practice has led to higher that usual wear on the engine cowlings and damage to the decals. This is purely aesthetic and the engine itself has been maintained to a high standard and was last serviced in Dec 2015 which included a major gearbox overhaul. An engineers report on the work carried out is available.
Please note, the engine seen on the stern is NOT the engine that belongs with the boat. The correct engine is still with the engineers following it's service.

Broker's Comments
Designed by Stephen Thomas and built by Projection Yachts this 25ft racing yacht is regarded as one of the prettiest sportsboat launched during the 1990's. She is quick, well balanced and easy to sail competitively with an average club crew.
Offering exceptional stability combined with blistering performance, sheer exhilaration and excellent fun this Projection 762 will satisfy most racing enthusiasts need for speed. She is always amongst the silverware during Fowey Regatta Week and more often than not is in the top 3 when competing in local Fowey racing.
She has been set up as an out and out racer, gaining many honours along the way. That said she has 2 sleeping berths and although not fitted to this boat the interior has been designed to accommodate a small cooker and worktop if required.
Her extensive sailing inventory includes One Sails Vantage main and headsail, both new in 2015, 3 spinnakers, 2013 and a range of other sails.
A cradle is also included for winter storage.
This new price reduction (coupled with the weak pound if buying from the EU) makes this highly competitive boat extremely good value. Furthermore, the interior has had a significant makeover as has the deck and hull in preparation for the forthcoming 2017 season.
