Broker's Comments

Westerly Konsort Duo 29 – a well-maintained motor sailer with proven pedigree.

The Westerly range of yachts was among the most popular of all British boatbuilding companies, earning a strong reputation for producing sturdy, well-built vessels.

The Westerly Konsort Duo 29 is a motor sailer designed by Laurent Giles - but unlike many motor sailers, this one can genuinely sail. She is easy to handle and can be helmed from either the wheelhouse or the cockpit. With a spacious cockpit and a tiller, she offers both comfort and control.

This particular boat appears to be in first-class condition for her age. It’s clear she has been well cared for by previous owners and maintained to a very high standard by her current owner.

She offers five berths: the dinette converts into a double berth with the galley opposite, and the forward cabin features a large double berth. The heads are generously sized and fitted with an electric toilet for added ease and convenience. Opposite the heads, there is a single berth.

She also benefits from new upholstery, carpets, and curtains throughout, plus a full cockpit enclosure adding all-year-round space whilst enhancing the onboard experience with added comfort and style.

Over the years, this boat has received numerous upgrades, including:

New standing rigging.
New roller reefing headsail system.
New engine, gearbox, and controls.
Copper-coated hull for long-term protection.
Her documentation is also comprehensive, including the original builder’s certificate and proof of VAT paid.

This boat is located in one of the most desirable marinas on the River Dart in Devon. The owner may consider transferring the berth to the new owner, subject to an agreeable offer and confirmation from the marina’s management.

If you’d like to book an early viewing, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

There is also an inflatable Avon dinghy available subject to separate negotiation.
